Vintage Souvenir Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels Opening Day Dodger Stadium Pennant 1962

My Forever Treasures opens our vintage souvenir baseball pennant collection with a 1962 beauty. Offered just this one time 57 years ago. This is a 1962 Guest of Dodger Stadium Grand Opening prize. The vertical pennant with Dodger blue and Angels red colors is beautiful. It reads “Guest Grand Opening of Dodger Stadium” and “Home of the Dodgers and Angels,” separated by crossed bats and a ball. Below, also in white lettering “April 9,1962.” This would be the the permanent home of the Dodgers and temporary home of the Angels until they had their own ball park.   There was a dedication ceremony. The Angels, a 1961 expansion team would play in their temporary home. 57 years later the stadium is still home to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Dignitaries made welcome speeches and the fans got to watch the Dodgers work out. A ticket had each fan receive food, watch the Dodgers work out and a Souvenir Pennant. My Forever Treasures is pleased to offer this vintage one of a kind prize. Hang it on your wall and offer the beautiful 29″ Pennant as baseball “Eye candy.”

Vintage 6 Day Bike Race Souvenir Pennant Hand Painted Very Old

My Forever Treasures goes back in time to offer our bicycle pennant treasure. The 6 Day Bike Race was the rage in 1870’s Britain. Europeans loved the drama of the endless cycling. This was before automobiles. The public wanted to see a bicycle racer show he was faster than a hound, horse or locomotive. This was also before baseball, basketball & football. 6 continuous days of non-stop riding, put the fans in a frenzy. By 1900, it’s popularity resulted in professional bicycle race winners earning as much as a $1,000 purse or more.   Europe’s successful Berlin 6-Day Bike Race, and endless others had 6-Day Races thriving in the U.S. The Sixers filled arenas in Madison Square Garden, Atlantic City, Boston, Chicago and on. The winner, was the racer who rode the most laps/miles in the specified time.Non-stop racing with as little sleep as necessary had the bike riders employing trainers like in boxing to keep them going. Professional bike riders raced in sprints, chases and elimination rounds as well as the most laps/distance. The best won an unheard of $5,000.   The Sixers brought overwhelming physical demand of the Bike Riders. As little sleep as possible was the call of […]

Vintage Early Old School Wrestling Poster. The Sheik. McGuire Twins. Tag Teams and Midgets. 1951 Wrestling Cards. Gene Stanley and the Dusek Brothers

My Forever Treasures wrestling fan clients have ached for vintage professional wrestling treasures. Today, we’ll celebrate this sport, that’s not really a sport. Professional wrestling’s egotistical gladiators are never who they appear to be. They’ve all been created, solely for your ENTERTAINMENT! Their feuds and grudges are choreographed. The public is offered nothing honest. The McMahon family, even dictates the predetermined FINAL MATCH RESULTS! Yet, the American public is overwhelmingly entertained by Professional Wrestling. Last year, this entertainment/sport turned a $215 Million profit! Our vintage treasures await you.   We’re offering fans of pretend vain wrestling heroes and heels a vintage old school 1970’s original Professional Wrestling Promotional Match Card Poster 22″ x 14″ heavy card stock. Pro wrestlers are always politically incorrect. Tag teams such as “The Assassins,” “Beer Money Inc.,””The Spanish Fleas,” Midget Team “The Mini Vans,” & Native American Tag Team “The Wahoos” all have names meant to offend fans. Names like “The Sheik,” “Andre The Giant” “The Big Boss Man” & “The Rock” aren’t their real names. When born, weighing just 8 pounds, did their parents really name them “HULK HOGAN!” or “The Undertaker!” The public xxx’s FAKE Wrestling.     Our rare “2nd Golden Era” […]
