The “Wizard of Oz,” is a 1939 American musical comedy-drama fantasy film. Produced by M.G.M., and noted, for it’s theatrical use of Technicolor, fantasy storytelling, music and unusual characters. Nominated, for 6 Academy Awards, and winner of The Best Song Academy Award, for “Over The Rainbow.” The film, won a Best Original Score Academy Award as well. As Dorothy, Judy Garland won the hearts of audiences around the globe. Her co-stars, Bert Lahr as the Cowardly Lion, Ray Bolger the Scarecrow, Jack Haley the Tin Man, and Dorothy’s dog Toto, are among the reasons, “The Wizard of Oz,” has become an icon of American culture. During a tornado in Kansas, Dorothy is knocked unconscious. She wakes up, in “Munchkin land.” The “Munchkins” befriend Dorothy and Toto. Tiny Doll, an original Munchkin Maiden, signed this movie script. Along the Yellow Brick Road, Dorothy and Toto come upon, The Cowardly Lion, The Scarecrow and The Tin Man. Vintage Mother Teresa Hand Signed Photograph

The child who would become Mother Teresa, was born in 1910. At a very early age, she was overwhelmed by her religious desires. Other children went to the school yard to play. She found herself, going to church, and praying just for fun. As an adult , this would become her only hobby. During her childhood, analytic findings offered, she had “Saint Potential.” To take advantage of this gift, at 18 she studied at a convent in Ireland. Many girls her age were drawn to fashion, boys and fun. She found herself giddy, at the prospects of poverty, chastity and obedience. She took her vows in 1928 and final vows as a missionary, in 1937. In 1946, Sister Teresa, showed signs of missionary overdrive. She believed she had a call within a call, to leave the convent for the squalor, found on the streets of Calcutta. Her ultimate passion, was to help the poor, abandoned and dying. The Pope granted her wish. Mother Teresa chose to live among these desperate people as well. She had her mail delivered, to M. Teresa, Squalor, Calcutta. Every donation, arrived safely. Charlie Chaplin is a British actor, comic, film maker, who has had an incalculable effect on making motion pictures the art form of the 20th Century. In 1914, he became an international icon as a result of his silent screen persona “The Tramp.” “The Tramp” was a visual contradiction baggy pants a tight jacket a small hat big shoes and a small mustache to make him look older but not hide his expression. Chaplin combined slapstick humor with pathos as the character overcame adversity. the public fell in love with the character and made Chaplin the first international movie star. after leaving the Mack Sennett Keystone Studio which paid him $150 a week. another studio gave him a $670,000 contract and his own movie studio as well. His silent film “Gold Rush” made a $5 million profit. By 1918 his Tramp character was recognized around the world. By 1924, his films were screened in more than 50 countries. CHARLIE CHAPLIN did everything. He wrote, directed, produced, starred, edited and even wrote the music for most of his films.
