In just his 16th bout, Cassius Clay was fighting, former Light Heavyweight Champion Archie Moore. In 1960, just 2 years earlier, Clay won an Olympic Gold Medal. The much older Moore, had been fighting 7 years, before Cassius was born. Always the showman, Clay used a 63 year old sparring partner, to entertain the public.
