Milton Berle is an American comedian and actor who’s career as an entertainer spanned over 80 years. He began as a child in silent films, vaudeville, theater, talkies/many films, radio and was television’s first superstar. As well as starring in many films and TV. Known as “Uncle Miltie” during television’s Golden Period. Milton was known for hosting the Texaco Star Theater 1948-1955. Rated # 1 and responsible for introducing television to the public.   Milton Berle was an old time vaudeville comic known as “MR. TELEVISION.” and famous for introducing the public to TV and changing entertainment forever. His top rated show had “MR. TELEVISION’S” program an event to his enormous audience. BERLE has 2 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for RADIO and TELEVISION. Like his contemporary Jackie Gleason he proved to be a solid dramatic actor. As a result he appeared on endless dramas. After the show had it’s run, Berle packed night clubs, Broadway Theaters and arenas. The superstar was always S.R.O. Elia Kazan was a Greek-American director, producer, writer and actor described by The New York Times “as one of the most honored and influential directors in Broadway and Hollywood history.” Today My Forever Treasure is answering requests for a unique Broadway and Hollywood Treasure. We’re responding by offering a director’s director treasure. Elia Kazan’s best seller “The Arrangement,” autographed by this icon with proof of authenticity. He became, one of the most distinguished actors, of both stage and screen. Muni, was one of the few screen actors, given the privilege of choosing, which film roles he wanted. Mike Nichols and Elaine May Playbill Documents One of the Great Comedy Highlights of All Time

MIKE NICHOLS AND ELAINE MAY met in the late 1950’s at (the pre-Second City) COMPASS PLAYERS in CHICAGO. Here they combined their improv skills to form the duo who took the comedy world by storm. Originally Shelley Berman was part of their trio, Mike and Elaine decided two would work better for the comedy pieces. Nichols and May used advanced improvisational skills to offer an intellectual edge to their political and social satire. “AN EVENING WITH MIKE NICHOLS AND ELAINE MAY” showcased their inspired comedic skits. The show’s album, won them a GRAMMY FOR COMEDY ALBUM OF THE YEAR. NICHOLS AND MAY’S comedy was such an elevated level of humor, their spot at the top has never been duplicated. They split up at the peak of their collaborations. MIKE NICHOLS went on to be a very successful film and Broadway director.
