Rolling Stones “Exile on Main Street” American Tour Souvenir Program 1972 + Early Magazine, Rolling Stones Press Kit

Reviewers said, “This Rolling Stones Tour, was forever part of Rock and Roll Legend.” They, all praised the Shows, as a “Benchmark of an ERA.” Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor electrified every audience non-stop.:) The tour began, soon after the Stones, released “Exile on Main Street.”   Off stage, violence followed the group, from city to city. The first,show in Vancouver, had 31 policeman injured, as 3,000 fans tried to crash the concert. In Tucson, 2,000 fans without tickets caused havoc. 80, were arrested in Houston. Montreal, had 3,000 riot, blowing up the Stone’s Equipment Truck as well. Each show, was an ultimate event. Mick, Keith and the Lads, were BRILLIANT.:)     To temper, the audience’s mood, Mick Jagger offered a friendly fun show, free of any signature demons. The set list, included “Brown Sugar,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Happy,” “Tumbling Dice,” “Sweet Virginia,” “Jumping Jack Flash,” and “Satisfaction,” was their encore. Joined, by opening act, Stevie Wonder.   The final 3 Shows, were at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where Mick Jagger’s birthday, was celebrated as well. Vintage Elvis Presley, “Tickle Me” 1965 American Musical Comedy Film Press Kit

“Tickle Me,” stars Elvis Presley, as a champion rodeo bull-rider and bronco-buster. Elvis, as one time rodeo standout Lonnie Beale, needs a job. So, his slick playboy character, heads to a dude ranch, that caters to wealthy and glamorous women. He sings, in a club and catches, the eye of the dude ranch’s owner. She hires, Lonnie and falls for him, as well.This is, the only Elvis film, released by Allied Artists Pictures. “Tickle Me,” saved the studio from collapse, and avoid bankruptcy. A song, from the film, Elvis Presley’s “Such an Easy Question,” went to # 1, on the easy listening charts. On a $1.5 Million budget, the film showed a $5 Million Profit. Presley, received a $600,000 salary, $150.000 expenses and 50% of the profit. In his 18th film, Presley’s, Lonnie Beale romances his way through this dude ranch musical. He’s disappointed,that the ranch is really just, a women’s fitness salon! It’s even, known as “Yogurt Gulch.” He, misses his original girlfriend, and between musical numbers, searches for a missing treasure, and rodeo runs.Elvis never disappoints. “Tickle Me,” has the King’s usual happy ending. “Wizard of Oz” Script. Owned, and top page, signed by Original Munchkin Tiny Doll. JSA included. 126 pages total.

The “Wizard of Oz,” is a 1939 American musical comedy-drama fantasy film. Produced by M.G.M., and noted, for it’s theatrical use of Technicolor, fantasy storytelling, music and unusual characters. Nominated, for 6 Academy Awards, and winner of The Best Song Academy Award, for “Over The Rainbow.” The film, won a Best Original Score Academy Award as well. As Dorothy, Judy Garland won the hearts of audiences around the globe. Her co-stars, Bert Lahr as the Cowardly Lion, Ray Bolger the Scarecrow, Jack Haley the Tin Man, and Dorothy’s dog Toto, are among the reasons, “The Wizard of Oz,” has become an icon of American culture. During a tornado in Kansas, Dorothy is knocked unconscious. She wakes up, in “Munchkin land.” The “Munchkins” befriend Dorothy and Toto. Tiny Doll, an original Munchkin Maiden, signed this movie script. Along the Yellow Brick Road, Dorothy and Toto come upon, The Cowardly Lion, The Scarecrow and The Tin Man. A vintage, cigarette trade card, of Queen Elizabeth 1, the present Queen’s mother. The mounted, W.D. & H.O. Wills cigarette trade card # 3, of Queen Elizabeth 1, is from, their most popular, British Kings and Queens set. As always, Wills Trade Cards, are issued by The Imperial Tobacco Co. In 1936, Elizabeth the 1st, became England’s Queen Consort, when, her husband ascended to the throne. His, brother Prince Edward, abdicated the throne, to marry an American Divorcee. Her Husband,took the title, King Albert the 6th. She held the title, Queen Elizabeth the 1st, the King’s Consort. Especially popular, during World War 2. They, visited hospitals, factories and England’s troops.(often near danger.)They, were deeply loved in England and the U.S. When Albert died, in 1952, Elizabeth’s Daughter, was Crowned, England’s Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. Vintage Harold Gray’s, Orphan Annie 1930’s, Ovaltine Porcelain Mug The Wander Co.

Illustrator, Harold Gray created the cartoon, “Little Orphan Annie,” in 1925. She became, a favorite among children. National newspaper syndication followed. Her incredible popularity, can be attributed to Annie’s success in several mediums. Newspaper comic strips, comic books and from 1930 forward, A Top Rated Radio Show. Orphan Annie’s Show, featured this bushy-haired dynamo, engaging in children’s activities, with the help of other youngsters. She, and her pals, were often chasing pirates, gangsters and other undesirables. Her huge audience, couldn’t get enough.   Ovaltine, was the radio show’s sponsor. Orphan Annie, encouraged listeners to drink Ovaltine, 3 times a day. She didn’t offer it, as a milk flavoring. Annie, told her young adoring public, “Ovaltine, was a food supplement.” “Great for energy.” “Best, when enjoyed, 3 times a day.” Children, would get premiums with their purchase. Perfect, for Orphan Annie Decoder Pins. These, pins would usually tell you. = Drink More Ovaltine. Along with Sandy, her dog, Daddy Warbucks and friends like Skippy & Joe.
